Since the outbreak of the epidemic, various places in Hubei have urgently needed all kinds of protective tools and medical equipment that meet protection requirements. Liu Guojun, Vice President of Xiaomi Group's Regional Expansion Department and General Manager of the Wuhan headquarters, introduced: After the Wuhan epidemic occurred, Xiaomi Group immediately launched a financial donation action, and at the same time prioritized donations of emergency supplies based on the epidemic situation. On January 23, Xiaomi simultaneously launched the first batch of emergency supply assistance plans for Wuhan, as well as a 10 million yuan financial donation to the Wuhan Charity Federation, and on January 25, the first day of the Chinese New Year, delivered the first batch of supplies to Wuhan.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, Wuhan Tongji Hospital, Wuhan Union Hospital, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, and Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University have become the front lines of the epidemic prevention battle, and their demand for medical supplies has been especially urgent. After learning of this situation, in this financial donation, Xiaomi gave priority to targeted donations to the five hospitals fighting on the front lines of epidemic prevention.

Liu Guojun also explained that throughout the entire relief process, Xiaomi Group made rapid delivery of emergency supplies the focus of its initial work, and fully leveraged the advantages of Xiaomi's platform and logistics. After learning that some medical supplies were scarce in Wuhan after the city lockdown on January 23, Xiaomi immediately set up an internal coordination team to move all medical supplies from the inventories of Xiaomi Youpin's six major warehouses nationwide that met requirements, as well as relief supplies raised from multiple sources, through transshipment in Xiantao, and relayed them into Wuhan.

He revealed that out of trust in Xiaomi's logistics scheduling capabilities, social organizations such as the Wuhan University Alumni Association and the Wang Yibo Fan Club also entrusted Xiaomi with the need to transport donated supplies.

It is worth mentioning that in addition to Wuhan, the hardest-hit area of this epidemic, Xiaomi also rushed to assist multiple cities in Hubei Province at the first opportunity. On January 28, emergency supplies donated by Xiaomi arrived at hospitals or health commissions in Huanggang, Xiaogan, Xiantao, Jingmen, and Jingzhou. This was also one of the earliest donations received by epidemic-stricken cities in Hubei Province outside Wuhan from internet companies. It is understood that the first batch of supplies delivered was mainly isolation protective clothing and N95 masks. Liu Guojun introduced that Xiaomi Group's planned total procurement amount has reached 6 million yuan, and according to actual conditions, it will gradually expand the scope of donations to better support all regions in fighting the epidemic.

According to the reporter's understanding, Xiaomi Group also empowered its ecosystem chain with comprehensive disaster relief capabilities, and various ecosystem chain companies responded positively and jointly participated in supporting Hubei's anti-epidemic work. Xiaomi ecosystem chain companies such as Zimi Technology, Zimi Technology, 8H, Xiaoji Technology, Dream Maker, Ninebot, and Jiuan Medical donated large amounts of supplies and funds. Ecosystem chain companies also leveraged their unique category advantages to donate a large number of daily necessities that meet the needs of epidemic areas.
